South Manchester Doo-woppers - First meeting: Monday 15 July, 20.15-22.00, Woodbourne Road Scout Hut, opposite 46 Woodbourne Road, M33 3TN. Nearest tram stop: Brooklands.

Brand new, ego-free*, a cappella doo-wop group aspiring to be big enough to provide a core of interchangeable singing parts. Minimal talent required, maximum commitment preferred, i.e. one Monday evening practice weekly. For it to work, you'll want to try to deliver organizer's dubious musical taste** with lashings of doo-wop. The eventual plan is to sing a few numbers at charity gigs but not to release singles or appear on The One Show.

Hope to hear you harmonising soon, Tony (59 ¾ and DBS/CRB checked his entire professional life). Contact Tony 07818 810541 or 0161 973 0061
