Fast Frets Guitar and Music club
Meets at the Amblehurst Hotel in Sale every fortnight. The club was originally formed to encourage people who would normally sit at home playing guitar and singing to themselves to get together with like minded folk and play in front of an audience, thus gaining confidence and developing their skills. We have some excellent players and have approximately 30 members but our doors are always open to new members, no matter what style or standard players are. Contact John

Leisure Groups in Trafford on a Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon,
the current timetable is offering indoor climbing, bowling, mini golf,
golf driving range, swimming, indoor canoeing and walking. We also are
starting an all day Sunday Walking Group in August but with the current
level of response we are looking to run this all year round. Check the

Theatre of the Senses
Theatre of the Senses is a not for profit company and was founded in manchester in 2011 by Shaun O'brien and Tamra O'Brien. We are based in Trafford. Our mission is to bring theatre to a wide theatre audience. We also produce an extensive educational program. The company has embraced the idea of multi-sensory, and placed great importance on all 5 senses, through lighting, sound, taste, smells and touch.
Productions include Macbeth, Jack and the Beanstalk, Romeo and Juliet, Agammenmon, The Alternative Frog Prince, The Harlet’s Curse , John Lennon Story. Cast members are from all over South Manchester, from various cultural backgrounds and of all age groups. We prides ourselves on being a community orientated group and never turning anyone away. Theatre of the senses is a force for change in theatre, breaking down barriers, challenging preconceptions and actively placing disabled and disadvantaged artists on stage. see advert for applicants
The
Pleasant Tuesday Afternoon
(or PTA as it is sometimes known)
We are a weekly group of mainly older women (60s plus) who meet to chat,
make friends and learn about new topics together. Usually there is a speaker
for about 15 minutes, sometimes including photos, slides and music.
We meet at Ashton United Reformed Church on Whitefield Road at 2.30
pm for about an hour and have tea/coffee together at the end of the
meeting.
It is run by a small group of women who attend the church but the group
is open to all, and is friendly and welcoming and would love new people

Community Music Group
We are a group of music lovers who meet on the first Tuesday of each month
at 8.00pm in St Marys Church Hall, Entwistle Ave, Davyhulme, M41 7BU.
We have an electronic organ, piano, keyboards, singers and
entertain ourselves with live popular music. If you would like a social
evening, listen to pleasant music and meet new friends then please join
us. We have a raffle and refreshments and are looking for new people to
come along. Any musicians who play any instrument would also be more than
