Cascade is a very friendly social group ideal for single people aged 45+ who wish to meet like- minded people for socialising in the Greater Manchester area.
A monthly newsletter outlines the programme of events each month . Events include walks, theatre visits, meals at restaurants, leisure cycle trips, weekends away, reading group and holidays at home/abroad.

Theme changes each half term to keep them interested (parents as well as children!). Facilities to have a coffee & a chat with fellow parents.
A Dementia friendly club that offers bowling, pottery, memory games, board games, exercise/fitness, reminiscence, manicures, arts/crafts, singing, puzzles, snooker/pool, table tennis, and lots more. £30 per day.
LARKHILL Dementia Cafe
Located at The Larkhill community Centre, Thorley Lane Timperley WA15 7AP. It is run by volunteers to support "the carers and cared for" of anyone suffering a Dementia or memory problems, and is held on Saturdays, twice per month, 10am-12. £2 per person.
The action group "Natural Recovery" holds a a gardening project at Syrian House, a care home for people with mental health problems in Sale. Volunteers, residents of the house and youth offenders meet every Wednesday at 2pm to work the garden. Our aim is to help residents in their recovery, to offer people from the local community the possibility of participating in a sustainable project and to work towards social inclusion.
NORTHERN RACING CLUB is run from it's Sale HQ for the benefit of horse racing enthusiasts in the region. We provide a bi monthly magazine and arrange a wide range of related activities such as visits to racing stables, local race days and competitions. SALE LADIES' LUNCHEON CLUB meets monthly on a Friday at Sale Conservative Club, Dane Road, Sale for a very reasonably priced three-course meal of excellent quality. an interesting or amusing speaker and a chat. We are running Leisure Groups in Trafford on a Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon, the current timetable is offering indoor climbing, bowling, mini golf, golf driving range, swimming, indoor canoeing and walking.
