Action for Sustainable Living (AfSL) holds the gardening project "Natural Recovery" at Syrian House, a care home for people with mental health problems in Sale. Volunteers, residents of the house and youth offenders meet every Wednesday at 2pm to work the garden. Our aim is to help residents in their recovery, to offer people from the local community the possibility of participating in a sustainable project and to work towards social inclusion.

We offer affordable face to face counselling for children from the age of 6, adults and couples. A reduced rate is available for those in receipt of a means tested benefit. We offer home counselling for those who are unable to attend our centre due to health issues. We can also offer counselling in other languages, please speak to a member of staff for more details.

Are you interested in getting involved with a group of people raising money for the local NSPCC? Why not get involved with the new Sale group! The NSPCC offers therapeutic services to children and families in Greater Manchester who have been affected by child abuse. It is only with the support of generous members of the public that we can offer this work.

1 -2 children die each week in Britain by someone who should be caring for that child. Even if all you can do is place a collection box in your shop - that can make a huge difference to a child. Theatre of the Senses
Theatre of the Senses is a not for profit company and was founded in manchester in 2011 by Shaun O'brien and Tamra O'Brien. We are based in Trafford. Our mission is to bring  theatre to a wide theatre audience. We also produce an extensive educational program. The company has embraced the idea of multi-sensory,  and placed great importance on  all 5 senses, through lighting, sound, taste, smells and touch.

Productions include Macbeth, Jack and the Beanstalk, Romeo and Juliet, Agammenmon, The Alternative Frog Prince, The Harlet’s Curse , John Lennon Story. Trafford Care and Repair

A non-profit organisation working in Trafford.   We help older and vulnerable people who own their own home, those in privately rented and social housing, with repairs, improvements and adaptations. The objective is to assist people to remain living independently in their own home in a safe, secure & warm environment.

We will advise and assist on all types of work including building maintenance, windows and doors, heating, damp problems, roofs etc.   We also provide a “low cost” handyperson service for a range of small jobs. We also provide benefits checks for over 60’s.  All advice is free. Unfortunately we don’t undertake gardening, decorating, gas or electrical work, but we have a comprehensive list of vetted contractors we can supply to clients.
