Countryside Taster Day
Macclesfield Riverside Park, on Wednesday 10th June 2015, from 11am - 3pm .
It's back! We will once again be hosting a ‘Countryside Taster Day,' for people with disabilities. The day will run on the same format, with arts and crafts, farm animals, falconry display, climbing wall, pony and trap rides and much more.
This year we are again making a small charge of £2 per person to cover some of our costs, but for that you will receive a snack, drink and have unlimited access to all the activities on the day. You may wish to bring a small amount of money this year as we will be selling tea and coffee in the marquee and the ice cream van and wildlife hospital will also be there.

Walking Football at Walton Park Indoor Football Centre
Walton Park Indoor Football Centre [WPIFC] are looking to begin Walking Football sessions in March 2015, at Walton Park Sports Centre, Raglan Road, Sale . WPIFC is a not for profit charity, which represents 400+ indoor football players on a weekly basis, to provide facilities for indoor football at Walton Park .
WPIFC hope to introduce a new initiative ideal for over 50s, but which is actually open to all age groups. The main difference from normal football - there is NO RUNNING! Only walking is allowed. This is a minimal contact sport and so it's a great way to keep fit and healthy (hopefully, without the aching limbs!).

Action for Sustainable Living (AfSL) holds the gardening project "Natural Recovery" at Syrian House, a care home for people with mental health problems in Sale.
