JP Joule, a famous past resident of Sale
Welcome to Sale Community Web.

Sale is a bustling town which originated on the banks of the river Mersey many hundreds of years ago. This website is for all residents, past and present, and visitors. We hope it will give a comprehensive guide to all that goes on in Sale.

The town has undergone a lot of re-development in recent years. Go to Google maps, streetview for a tour of the town - example. You can click on the arrows to journey round the town and double click to zoom in. Hold the mouse button and drag to pan round - brilliant!!

This website is mainly directed at publicising Sale and what goes on in the community. The main emphasis is on the voluntary sector, local activities and consumer issues generally.

Use the navigation menus above and below to find your way round. There is a search facility and site map link at the top right corner of each page so you should find what you want fairly easily.

Sale Moor Community Organiser. Maddie is a community organiser working in Sale Moor. Community Organisers listen to residents about what they love about their area, and what they would like to change. We can support them to do a range of different things in the community, like social groups, activities, campaigns. There is also volunteer opportunities as a “Volunteer Community Organiser” .
